Taumalolo was part of the Kiwis side which was beaten 34-8 by Australia in the final of the Four Nations rugby league tournament this morning and was the joint Dally M medal winner with the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL.
Cronulla Sharks winger Valentine Holmes has reportedly joined Taumalolo.
Both players are off contract with their NRL clubs and follow Jarryd Hayne, who spent a season at the San Francisco 49ers before returning to the NRL via a stint in sevens.
