The Mainland Tactix slumped to its ninth loss of the season on Monday night.
It was beaten 52-38 by the Central Pulse in Christchurch.
The Pulse has now jumped ahead of Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic into second on the ANZ Premiership table.
It has six wins, while the Tactix remains winless.
