The Netball South Beko league squad to defend its 2016 title has been announced.
Returning from last year's win are Dunedin's Sophie Erwood, Dani Gray and Zoey Flockton. They are joined by Aliyah Dunn and Ngawai Eyles from Invercargill, Georgia and Kate Heffernan, Olivia Bates, Tarryn Dickson from Dunedin, Ella Brown and Ashleigh Smith from Eastern and Taneisha Fifita from North Otago.
The wider squad members are Sarah Boomer, Laura Moffatt, Lucy Heenan and Kiana Pelasio, all of Dunedin.
Dunn, Fifita and both Heffernans are all secondary school pupils and are awaiting approval from Netball New Zealand.
