Steel celebrations exceed expectations

The Southern Steel might have barely won netball's ANZ Premiership final by the narrowest of margins - one goal.

But the come-from-behind victory was a remarkable achievement, worthy in the minds of the players of this special photograph posted on Instagram.

Captain Wendy Frew stripped off to celebrate, with the help of two well-positioned netballs.

She drew inspiration from All Black sevens player Kurt Baker, who celebrated New Zealand's Sevens World Cup win by taking a cheeky nude pic with the trophy.

Frew said she could not have asked for a better finish from her side, describing the final moments of the match as unreal.

``This just means so much, obviously being my last game at this level, and there's no better finish I could imagine. It's just like a dream.''
