A large crowd gathered at Auckland Airport this morning to welcome home 170 of New Zealand's Olympians.
The group included many of the country's 18 medallists including Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, Hamish Bond and Eric Murray, Lisa Carrington, Mahe Drysdale, Luuka Jones and the women's sevens team.
The athletes are now at The Cloud on the Auckland waterfront, where an official welcoming took place.
