Central Otago athletes to fore

Central Otago athletes dominate the selections in the New Zealand ski teams for this season.

Queenstown Alpine Ski Team's Alice Robinson is joined by Wanaka Ski and Snowsports Club's Piera Hudson in the A team.

Robinson achieved an A team ranking in 2018 and had an exceptional season, claiming New Zealand's first world cup medal in 17 years.

Hudson takes a step up after achieving career-best results and becoming the first New Zealander to earn world cup points in the slalom in 15 years.

Wanaka duo Adam Barwood and Willis Feasey make up the B team, while Colbey Derwin (Wanaka) is joined by Mt Hutt's Eliza Grigg in the C team.

Queenstown's Alex Hull makes the development squad, alongside Georgia Bushell and Amelia Gillard, of Mt Hutt.
