Cobham Intermediate beat fellow Christchurch school Christ The King in a tense final yesterday.

The score was locked 3-3 at the end of regulation time.

But Cobham won the penalty shootout 7-5 to clinch the title. The tournament attracted 140 competitors and was staged over three days.
