The competition was won by the Dunedin Country team, made up of Ash Beattie, Charlie McLeod, Gordon Jannink and Les Beattie, ahead of runner-up, the Dunedin South team of Dave Inder, Ken Whitson, Andy Wallace and Jeff McCall.
