The Otago team competes in the senior division at the South Island Marching Championships 2020 at the Edgar Centre yesterday.

Canterbury club Empire scooped the major prizes.

It won the senior technical and display competitions and was named South Island champion team in the grade.

Onyx Militaires under-16 team achieved the best result of the home teams.

It claimed third place in the technical and the display in its grade.
