Dunedin fencers Sam Parish (left) and Jacob Reeve compete during the men’s foil at the national fencing championships held in Dunedin during the  weekend.

New Zealand No1 Hamish Chan clinched the title. Wai Ling Chan won the women’s epee, while husband and wife John and Frances Chow, of Australia, won the men’s and women’s sabre.

The event, which is being staged at the Edgar Centre, concludes today.
