Tough day for NZ curlers

New Zealand had a disappointing day at the world junior championships in Canada yesterday.

The side of Anton Hood, Ben Smith, Mathew Neilson and Hunter Walker, all who come from Maniototo, and reserve Jayden Bishop, from Dunedin, lost both their games yesterday.

The side went down 7-5 to Switzerland and then lost to the United States 7-5, and has dropped to sixth in the standings. It needs to finish in the top four to qualify for the semifinals.
