The finalists for New Zealand's favourite sporting moment of 2018 were released yesterday.
Included in those was Wanaka Winter Olympians Nico Porteous and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott winning medals within two hours of each other in Pyeongchang.
Also included was the Commonwealth Games gold medal winning try scored by Otago born and raised Kelly Brazier for the Black Ferns Sevens.
They will compete against seven others.
The Commonwealth Games feature prominently on the list in David Liti's gold medal and record, as well as the Black Sticks women's semifinal penalty shootout win over England.
Auckland winning the Mitre 10 Cup premiership final in extra time and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck receiving an impromptu haka after winning the Dally M player of the year award also feature.
White Ferns youngster Amelia Kerr's record-breaking 232 not out and the Black Caps' four run win over Pakistan make the list.
Rounding out the list is Anna Leat's successful penalty to send New Zealand to the semifinals of football's under-17 women's world cup.
Voting opened yesterday and ends on February 21, the night of the awards ceremony.
