It doesn’t get much closer

In an exciting finish, Clevedon driver Joshua Dickie gets Speeding Spur (geen colours), the horse he co-trains with his father, John, up to beat Le Lievre’s Gift (centre, third) and Woodstone (second)  in the $100,000 New Zealand Trotting Free-For-All at Addington Raceway in Christchurch yesterday.

The official margins were a long head, half a neck and a neck.
