Working hard

Jana Knickenberg (16), of St Hilda’s Collegiate, powers into her stroke at the Otago secondary schools indoor rowing championships at the University of Otago rowing centre yesterday.

Entrants from eight Dunedin schools contested  the championships, which featured races over 2000m, 1000m, 500m and 100m.

The novice girls and boys races had the most entrants. Bayfield High School’s Eva Hofmans won the under-19 girls 2000m race.
