The Black Ferns have advanced the women's Rugby World Cup final.

They claimed a comprehensive 45-12 win over the USA in this morning's semifinal in Dublin.

Portia Woodman scored four tries as the New Zealanders proved too strong after the break.

It had been a tight affair early on, the Black Ferns taking a 15-7 lead to halftime.

However the floodgates opened in the second half.

Others to score tries were first five-eighth Victoria Subritzky-Nafatali, reserve hooker Te Kura Ngata-Aerengamate and second five-eighth Kelly Brazier.
