Rugby Chat with West Taieri

After giving the team a bit of grief lately in his column Otago Daily Times rugby columnist Paul Dwyer visited the West Taieri club to mend a few bridges and see what makes the club tick.

The team was playing the Dunedin premier 2 team for the Richard Perkins trophy.

Perkins was club captain for both clubs during his illustrious rugby career.

Up until their clash both teams were unbeaten so it promised to be a close encounter.
