The Highlanders have been well beaten by the Crusaders 41-7 in Wanaka tonight.

The Highlanders scored first in very warm conditions, with Rob Thompson dotting down, but the Crusaders took over and ran away with the game.

It was too quick in the backs and dominated the collision.

It was the final warm-up game for both teams, with Super Rugby starting next weekend.
