Landers convoy planned

Let's get ourselves a convoy.

Those keen to get in behind the Highlanders for their quarterfinal against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday night have been urged to join a Highlanders convoy.

The ''Landers Army'' is set to leave Forsyth Barr Stadium at 10.30am on Saturday, hitting the road to Christchurch.

Those who are travelling independently to the game are urged to get in the convoy, which will travel all the way to Christchurch and on to AMI Stadium to watch the big game.

A bus is also being put on and for $69, bus passengers will get a trip up to Christchurch, a ticket to the game and a return to Dunedin, all in one day.

The bus will leave Dunedin at 1.15pm on Saturday bound for Christchurch and return from the garden city at 9.45pm, getting back to Dunedin in the early hours of Sunday.

The AMI Stadium increased its capacity to 21,000 for the match between the Crusaders and the British and Irish Lions and has maintained that temporary seating.

Tickets were still available yesterday.
