Former Highlander John Hardie has returned to Scotland's squad.

The 29-year-old had been suspended for three months for gross misconduct following alleged cocaine use.

The flanker has started two games for his club, Edinburgh, since his return.

He is one of 10 players called into the squad for its match against Ireland.

It comes off a 25-13 win over England.

Hardie played for the Highlanders from 2010-2015, before shifting to Scotland prior to the 2015 World Cup.

He has made 16 appearances for the national side, being eligible through his grandmother.
