    South Otago High School player Tia Valli offloaded the ball despite the attention of Otago Girls' High School pair Charlotte Power (16) and Catherine Mason (13) during the A semifinal of the Otago secondary schoolgirls sevens finals at Kettle Park yesterday.

    South Otago went on to beat St Hilda's Collegiate 17-5 in the A final, while Kavanagh College beat Cromwell College 22-15 in the B final.
