King's topples Southland Boys' in shortened game

King's High School has claimed a narrow win in its first XV inter-school match today.

It beat Southland Boys' High School 12-10 at King's.

The game ended 11 minutes early due to a serious injury to a Southland Boys' player.

Yesterday Otago Boys' High School was beaten 26-13 by Christ's College in an inter-school game in Christchurch.
