Rugby: Habana's try in Dunedin best of year

South African winger Bryan Habana has been awarded the try of the year for his audacious chip and chase in Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium against the All Blacks.

The try, which gave the Springboks the lead against the All Blacks in the September test, has won the International Rugby Players' Association (IRPA) try of the year award. The All Blacks recovered to win 21-11.

The judges chose Habana's effort ahead of tries by New Zealand wingers Hosea Gear and Julian Savea and Julien Malzieu of France.
