The Otago Rugby Football Union has cancelled most grades of rugby this weekend.
All junior metropolitan rugby, Otago secondary schools competitions below the premier schools competition, and women's metropolitan rugby has been abandoned.
Senior competitions will proceed as normal, but the Dunedin City Council has said a "limited amount" of games will be transferred.
