King's High School first XV and Dunstan High School cemented their places in the top six after the end of pool play in the Otago premier schools competition today.
King's beat Taieri College 35-3 while South Otago beat Dunstan High School 31-29 but Dunstan gained two bonus points to finish ahead of St Kevin's College.
St Kevin's beat Waitaki Boys in the Oamaru derby 26-24.
In the other game played John McGlashan College beat Mount Apsiring College 37-0.
Kavanagh defaulted to Otago Boys High School first XV while Otago Boys second XV had already beaten King's High School second XV earlier in the season.
Otago Boys HIgh School, Waitaki Boys, Mount Aspiring and John McGlashan are the other four schools in the top four.
