Climber taken to hospital after fall on Port Hills

A climber was taken to Christchurch Hospital after a fall in the Port Hills last night.

A St John ambulance was sent to the scene on Summit Rd about 6.15pm on Thursday, a spokesperson said.

A helicopter was also sent. The person was treated at the scene before being taken to Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries.
