Concerns for safety of missing Japanese tourist

Police are appealing for the public's help to find a missing Japanese tourist in Canterbury.

Tokuichi Sako, 77, was last seen on February 27 at 3pm in the Templeton area.

He was driving a  late model white Toyota Hilux Ute, registration JTD982.

Police said they have concerns for the safety and well-being of Mr Sako.

Anyone with information on where Mr Sako may be is urged to call police on 105 and quote file number 200316/2523.
