Cyclist taken to Christchurch Hospital after being hit by vehicle

A cyclist has been seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on St Asaph St in Christchurch.

A police spokesperson said they received a report that a vehicle had crashed into a cyclist about 8.50am on Thursday.

A St John spokesperson said an ambulance responded to the crash and a person with serious injuries was transported to Christchurch Hospital.
