Man killed in Christchurch-Akaroa Rd crash named

There were two police pursuits in Christchurch on Saturday night and another on Monday morning.

Police have named the man who died in a serious crash on Christchurch-Akaroa Rd earlier this month.

Harley Kevin Campbell, 27, of Aranui, was killed on Sunday, July 5, in single-vehicle crash near the intersection of State Highway 75 (Christchurch-Akaroa Rd) and McQueens Spur Rd. 

Emergency staff were sent to the scene about 9.30pm after reports that a car had rolled.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

"Police extend their sympathies to his family," a spokesperson said.
