Two people were injured and one person was arrested after an alleged assault in Lyttelton last night.
A police spokesperson said officers responded to a report of an assault on St Davids St about 7:45pm on Thursday.
"Two people are being treated, one of them for serious injuries, one of them for moderate injuries," they said.
One person was arrested, the spokesperson said.
