Teen missing in the Canterbury region has been found

A 15-year-old reported missing from Dunedin since January 25 and thought to have been in Canterbury has been found, police said.

Both police and Danielle Donkins' family previously said they had concerns for her well-being.

It's not known where she was found, but police said when she was missing Danielle may have been in the Timaru or the Christchurch areas.

Police thanked members of the public for their assistance.
