Police have found an 84-year-old woman who went missing in Ashburton.

Kura Clark, who uses a walking frame, was reported missing from her home late last night, but police said she was "safely located" this morning.

Residents in the Alford Forest Rd, River Rd, Oak Grove and Walnut Ave area were last night asked to check their properties, including sheds and outbuildings, for Clarke.
