Quad bike death near Timaru

    One person has died in an incident involving a quad bike near Timaru today.

    Police said they were called to a farm on Hamiltons Rd in the Maungati area, south of Timaru, about 11:55am 

    The death has been referred to the Coroner and WorkSafe.

    "As we are investigating we are unable to provide any further information," WorkSafe said in a media release.
