The Mayfield A&P Show drew a large crowd who enjoyed a great community day out with events and activities to suit young and old.

The sun was shining and people from the community - and beyond - were drawn to the 95th annual event last Saturday, which organisers are hailing as a "huge success".

The show continued with their point of difference from other shows with novelty events such as wobbly bike riding, pig racing, tractor tyre flipping, tug of war competition and people against a team of Clydesdale horses.

But it also had all the core aspects of an A&P show, with animal judging, a large home industries pavilion with baking, floral, art, vegetables among some of the competition entries and carnival entertainment.

Other crowd pleasers included popular equestrian events, dog trials run by the Mayfield Collie Club as well as a two day tractor pull competition.
