Police were called to Super Liquor on East St, about 8.40pm on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman said a masked man, who was wearing a black hoodie and grey trousers, entered the store and threatened an employee with a knife.
The man stole about five small bottles of spirits and two one-litre bottles of liqueurs before running from the store.
