Some 25 residents, living between numbers 7 and 34, came together on Sunday for dinner at Cleavers Corner.
Many had shared food and a chat at previous gatherings, but there were also some newcomers this time, said Woodham Drive resident Heather Stewart. She said residents were part of a neighbourhood support group and kept an eye out for each other in the street.
In recent years, and instead of having a potluck dinner in someone’s garden, the preferred option had been a dinner treat away from home.
Young and old came together for the occasion, which was also a chance to meet any new families moving into the street.
