Hampstead School has supported the foodbank at St Vincent de Paul with a large donation of non-perishable goods.

The end of term mufti day asked children to bring in a can, or dried goods to support the foodbank.

The school has 12 pupils in its Young Vinnies group.

There are also Young Vinnies groups at St Joseph's School and Our Lady of The Snows in Methven.

Groups are co-ordinated by Anna Young and members are involved with a number of activities in the community, including visiting elderly people and rest homes and bagging kindling for distribution by St Vincent de Paul.
