The man who died after a crash in Ashburton on Saturday night has been named.
Robert William Kauika, 69, of Ashburton, was killed in the crash between two vehicles in William St, Netherby, about 8pm.
The police investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
"Our thoughts are with his family and friends," a police spokesperson said.
