Hanmer Springs in North Canterbury is open again for business after being closed for 65 days.
But there are new rules in place for guests so they are soaking at an acceptable social distance from one another.
Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa general manager Graeme Abbot spoke to RNZ about opening the doors again and who they're expecting to come through in the coming months.
