Community events in Selwyn postponed

Several community events in Selwyn have been postponed due to Covid-19 lockdown, which begins at 11.59pm tomorrow.

The Lincoln and Districts Historical Society field trip to Tai Tapu planned for Sunday will now be held in the spring.

A spokesman for the committee said they would like to thank the hosts at St Paul’s Church, Tai Tapu Library and the Tai Tapu Hotel.

The Lincoln Envirotown Trust's Kim Hill Hot Topic event on Thursday at the Lincoln Event Centre has been postponed. It is hoped a new date will be announced in the future.

The planned public meeting for residents to speak to Selwyn District Council staff about a proposed supermarket development in the Flemington subdivision in Lincoln has also been cancelled.
