A 5-year-old boy was flown to Dunedin Hospital after suffering a medical event at the Kakanui School pool last Friday.
A police spokeswoman confirmed they were called to the scene, and that the boy’s father had pulled him from the water before administering CPR, and reviving the boy.
He was flown to hospital for observation, she said.
Police had no further details on the child’s condition.
