A house near Temuka was extensively damaged in a large fire on Tuesday night.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said crews were called to the blaze on Springfield Rd, near the intersection of Factory Rd, about 10pm.
He said the fire was well involved and crews remained at the scene for about three hours.
No one was injured and the blaze was not being treated as suspicious.
