Woman missing from Oamaru found dead

    A 35-year-old woman reported missing from Oamaru on Saturday has been found dead.

    The woman did not return from a walk at Cape Wanbrow​ on Saturday morning.

    A search and rescue effort was launched before police confirmed yesterday evening she had been found dead.

    The death was not being treated as suspicious and would be referred to the Coroner.
