Streets with no names frustrate visitors

    Visitors to Ashburton have faced some challenging times navigating streets in the town centre recently due to the lack of street name signs.

    The signs have been missing since the Ashburton District Council undertook revitalisation work in the town centre last year.

    District council infrastructure group services manager Neil McCann said as part of the upgrade council was replacing all the CBD road signs.

    “There has been a delay with the delivery of the new street name signs; those are expected to arrive in early February,” he said.
