Christchurch libraries are asking for photos that tell the story of the city’s Pasifika community for a new exhibition.

Tūranga will host the exhibition, Talanoa I Measina - Sharing Our Stories, later this year.

But it needs more photos - new or old - of family, friends, celebrations, social gatherings, sporting events and everyday life to be submitted for the exhibition and the libraries’ digital collection.

Photographs, negative, slides and digital images in the highest possible resolution are all suitable.

You can upload digital images or contact staff regarding physical photos.

The final date for submissions is Tuesday, June 30.
