The body of a climber who fell to their death has been recovered from a mountain near Glenorchy.
Police said it received a report at 4pm yesterday a climber fell on Mount Earnslaw, which police understood happened earlier in the day.
The body was located near Earnslaw Hut about 8.20pm, police said.
The death will be referred to the coroner.
