A man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after a car rolled in Concord last night.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the scene about 8.50pm after a single-vehicle crash where a car rolled onto its roof in Morton St.

Police, St John and Fire and Emergency New Zealand were all at the scene, she said.

A St John spokesman said an ambulance transported a male in a serious condition to Dunedin Hospital.
