The show, which will be staged at Dunedin’s Regent Theatre on February 12, will honour the 1979 Greatest album with a set list of iconic disco, ballads and songs written by the Bee Gees.
In a statement, the show’s producers said the Australian trio of Evan Webster (depicting Barry Gibb), Russell Davey (Robin Gibb) and Greg Wain (Maurice Gibb), will be joined by special guests Nick Endacott-Gibb (Maurice Gibb’s son) and Debora McLane (the Bee Gees’ niece).
This will be the 27th year playing Barry Gibb for Evan Webster, who is also the creator, producer and co-ordinator of the "Best of the Bee Gees" show.
This troupe of seasoned musicians received standing ovations during their Australian 25th anniversary in 2023/24 and North Island tour in 2025, and are delighted to be touring the South Island in 2026.
Among the Bee Gees hits to be performed during the show are Massachusetts, To Love Somebody, I started a Joke, Jive Talking, Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love, Too Much Heaven, You Should Be Dancing, Nights on Broadway and more.
