Calling any and all, aspiring singers and anyone who would like to join a fun group to learn, rehearse and entertain.

The Sixties Singers is a group of enthusiastic members of the Dunedin 60+ Club, who get together bringing musical joy to themselves and many others, through visits to rest homes.

The programme for this year covers songs from musicals and shows interspersed with traditional songs.

The singers enjoy the fellowship shared, with singing and music contributing to the members’ wellbeing and enjoyment of life.

Research supports choral singing as valuable for both physiological and psychological aspects of human behaviour. Why not give the Sixties Singers a try?

Sixties Singers has a proud history of solid membership and rest-home singing, and needs more support to keep this going.

Monday rehearsals have commenced for 2023 and consideration to the group’s membership and future plans discussed.

Sixties Singers Willie Campbell welcomes inquiries, please phone (03) 453-6741, email alafair1@outlook.com
