McAuliffe Jewellers

McAuliffe Jewellers is one of Dunedin’s oldest jewellers. Established in 1956, it is now owned by second-generation family members Robert and Colleen McAuliffe.

Engagement and wedding rings have always been a major part of our business.

Apart from our range of stock rings, we can source diamonds of any size or colour, and can hand-make a ring to our customers' design.

We have a large range of New Zealand-made wedding rings, including plain gold in either yellow, white and rose gold in 9K, 14K, 18K or 22K.

Popular men’s styles also include titanium and black zirconium.

Patterned rings in any width and finger size are made to order and are seamless, making them very hard-wearing.  There are hundreds of styles to choose from, including two-tone, and either with or without diamonds.

McAuliffe Jewellers also stock a large range of general jewellery and many suitable gifts for bridesmaids and the wedding party. Men’s jewellery is also catered for with bracelets, cufflinks and pendants.

Repairs and restoration is another part of McAuliffe Jewellers core business.

For over 60 years we have been trusted with our customers' most precious heirlooms to repair, restore or re-model.

Robert McAuliffe is also a qualified watchmaker with more than 45 years experience in repairing all types of watches and clocks including grandfather and antique clocks.

Our knowledgeable staff can help you with those big decisions.
