Driver escapes injury as car flips

A driver walked away unhurt after a car rolled on to its roof after hitting a bank in Dunedin today, police say.

A police spokeswoman said police were called to Queens Dr, Belleknowes, at 3.23pm after the vehicle lost control and ended up on its roof.  

Hato Hone St John was also in attendance.

Nobody was injured in the crash, the spokeswoman said.

One lane was blocked for a short time but was reopened shortly after.
